I already follow you, so I must have already liked your music, but now- oh I'm so excited about this song. This is great. I'm imagining so many cool scenes. Way to go!

Thank you - and it's YOU! You are the Hyper Piper!!!
What a small world this is! :D

Especially when you really get into it in the second half, it is spendlid! It's so cool! The lyrics and the music are a beautiful celebration of Ruby and The finger Eater. Seriously, good job, dude. I'll be doing my best to promote this! :) Much love, from me to you! You rock!

AntonM responds:

Thanks for all the kind words Piper :)
much love2U2

This is funny. Boobs *are* nice. However, Bob kind of slurred his last name a bit and for me it ruined the illusion of him being a news reporter. So half a star off for that. My honest review suggestion is trying to enunciate a bit more. As voice actors we all go through trying to remember that. Thanks for sharing. :)

acdramon responds:

Thank you for the feedback! I shall take in the said feedback with the might of the gods!

Hahaha. Very funny. Actually, I imagined the shark in your profile picture. This voice would fit it very well. Only constructive advice, that it would be so much more awesome to hear this on a clearer mic. :) Thanks for sharing!

Keisok responds:

I understand. I just lack the funding to set up a more professional studio unfortunately. Auralex foam and a dynamic/condenser mic set up costs a notable amount of cash that I don't have available sadly.

This is amazing. I do feel like my lines seems a bit underplayed compared to the intensity of the other lines, but that's just me being hard on myself, I guess. Thanks for the plug and letting me be a part of this very creative and impressive piece.

Lich responds:

Haha not a problem, once again thank you for recording the Dialogue for this track :)

Very creative story I can really appreciate that. I do feel like improving your recording technique with the mic could have seriously amped up the sound quality quite a bit. Making it easier to enjoy the story. I also got the sense that the lines were improvised. I've been in theater for years and improv can really perk up a story sometimes, especially when it improves upon a previous script, but I felt in this case it ended up being the entire story. Which is too bad, because you had a brilliant idea for it.

Anyway. Thank you for sharing! I hope if voice acting is something you're seriously interested in that you'll continue and reach out the VA community for advice and support. :)

Zolen responds:

I started writing a script, but every attempt ended up awkward and off when I tried to act it, so I ended up improving about 70% of this which strangely made it sound more natural, granted it was non-sensical either way.

I have an interest in all forms of art really, so given time I probably will eagerly learn, not sure if my voice is something any creator would want though.

I liked a few of the voices, but I did feel like the quality of the recording created a great loss. The acting and a bit of the delivery seemed forced and I wasn't able to enjoy the story as much as I would have liked. Creative idea. Thank you for sharing! :)

Orias1992 responds:

No thank you for the review! I did kind of rush this a bit to try and get an entry in. But, once i get some better equiptment (and now that i'm moved) I can get some quality stuff out there and increase my chances!

I liked your choice in voices, the acting, and range. Though, I really wish I could have had a better chance at enjoying what you have to offer without the sound quality getting in the way. It does sound like you cleaned it up, but not enough to keep it from being a distraction, and that's really too bad.

As I see in the comments it said that you didn't write anything and just improved. Is that right? Well unfortunately this does show. It would have been nice to have heard you put more effort into the script then, as in, writing it first. I think this could have really improved the overall presentation.

Anyway. Thank you for sharing this wish us. I hope that if you do wish to continue voice acting and share your talent with us, that you will find more dynamic and ways to do so. :)

swedishcountryboy responds:

Yeah, the whole thing takes place in a car with rain outside. So the sounds you hear are various soundfiles of a car interior with rain outside and wipers on, doors opening and closing, outside rain while the doors are open, and then some various interior sounds when they get back in to the car.

I'm realizing I should have just left them all out, since it's different hearing something you recorded yourself and listening to someone elses recording. I know what the sounds are, I know what the characters are saying and what the voices sound like. But other people will just hear a jumbled up mess. Thank you for your feedback, and yeah, I had fun, I'll be coming back for other competitions. You learn from your mistakes.

Hello. I also noticed quite a bit if static, pops and other microphone noises. As well as not being able to easily understand all that was being said, especially with Miz Tentacles.

What's left for me to address would be your range. While I was only able to really get a good listen to the childlike voice and the mother like voice I would say that they were very well done. Then we have the acting. The emotions behind the voices were all very similar in tone, which would mean, if we're listening to it from a voice acting standpoint, the case of blending emotions proves to be a bit of a setback.

I can appreciate the effort and the imagination put into this. A tantalizing story. It takes quite a bit of bravery to bring forth such a sexual array of imagery into a script.

I would like to be respectful and give you an honest score. Thank you sharing this with us and I hope that if voice acting is something you are very interested in that you will continue. :)

TrixiesTale responds:

Oh yes, for sure, this was my first v.a. contest so hopefully I will get better!

This is great. I really loved your different voices. As AderuMoro said, their own little tics and distinctions, very entertaining! Even though I extremely dislike bratwurst, heheh. Anyway, I hope his best friend ends up surviving. That'd be very sad. I'd have no idea how to handle myself if I was being threatened my best friend's life for a recipe my boss was reluctant to sell.

I also experienced the narrator farther into the right side of the speaker. I even flipped my headphones to double check. Ah, well. Anyway. Overall. Very well done. Well written. Well mixed. Well acted. You're quite talented!

Iamavoiceactor responds:

I am happy you enjoyed my acting I have listened to some of your work and I especially liked one of your recent videos. Well I could say that the meaning was deep about how some people have a obscure ideal on what they value until the world forces there perspective. I am happy you liked it and thanks for listening.

Voice of Pipistrella in Pit People. Voice on Newgrounds Radio. I can be a voice in your latest creation.
